Index welcomes you to celebrate America's Declaration of Independence and to share the love of our nation at the annual Fourth of July Parade. We will assemble at Doolittle Park at 11:30 and at noon march, cycle, go-cart, drive or simply cheer folks on through town. Potluck to follow back at Doolittle. Consider rounding out your day with a hike at one of Heybrook Ridge County Park's trails before or after the celebrations.

Public Meeting

Want to get in on some Serious Potty Talk? Come to the FOHR Board of Directors' public meeting on June 16th from 7 to 9 PM at the River House in Index.

Really: this meeting's agenda will not only update the Erinswood Trail project's progress but will also include a discussion of how FOHR can reinstate the porta-potty at the HRCP parking lot. We too want to prevent potential overburdening of the toilet in Doolittle Park between now and when the Erinswood project's enclosed sanican is in place later this year.

The River House is located at 444 Avenue A on the town-side of the car bridge that crosses the river.

Join us at this annual celebration. Stop by our FOHR booth, learn more about Heybrook Ridge County Park, and check out our cool and colorful socks!
